Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to remove sagging, puffiness, and excess skin from the upper and/or lower eyelids. These changes, often due to aging, can make a person appear tired and older than they actually are. Blepharoplasty not only provides a more refreshed and youthful appearance, but also improves vision in patients whose field of sight is narrowed due to excess eyelid tissue.
This surgery can be performed on both men and women, especially after the age of 35. While rejuvenating the eye area, it also gives the face a more vibrant and energetic expression.

Surgical Procedure
The operation is typically performed under local anesthesia and takes about 30–60 minutes. In the upper eyelid, excess skin is removed to tighten the lid. In the lower eyelid, fat pads causing puffiness are repositioned or removed. Incisions are made along the natural folds of the eyelid, making scars minimally visible after healing.
The recovery process is usually quick. Swelling and bruising subside within a few days. Most patients can return to their normal routines within 5 to 7 days.
